The static renditions API has been expanded to allow creation of MP4s at specific resolutions instead of being limited to highest quality or audio-only options. Eight different resolutions are supported: 270p, 360p, 480p, 540p, 720p, 1080p, 1440p, and 2160p, up to the maximum resolution of the asset. This gives developers more control over the quality for their specific MP4 dependent use cases.
